Dynamo Three Stage Programme

Stage 3 - Dynamic Workseets
Reinforcement and Practice to Develop Confidence

Research and practice indicates that children who are dyscalculic or low achievers need to over learn and this programme is supported by on-line worksheets that can be printed and used off line. This also allows children who may not have access to on-line facility at home to continue to access the curriculum.

The Paper based activities allows the child to think through and reflect on their learning. It provides primary evidence for the teacher to identify the gaps in the child’s learning and thinking process.

Example of Dynamic Worksheets

These are some of the examples. Dynamic printable Worksheets and Answer Sheets for each of the Dynamo Maths Activities form part of the programme.

Measurement and Motivation: The programme has excellent reporting features that are transparent and informs both the child and the teacher instantly where they are in their learning, where they can be and most importantly it shows the gaps in learning.

The teachers reports can be viewed in two modes; class or individual student. The reports are presented to measure achievement in three areas of attainment.

- Accuracy, through scores;
- Proficiency, through time taken and
- Progression, through the number of questions attempted.

In addition to providing immediate oral feedback and targeted reports, children are also motivated by the three level achievement certificates which can be printed as milestone achievements. All the measurements can be saved to a spreadsheet so that the child’s progression can be easily tracked.

Personalisation and Accessibility: Two very powerful and simple to use feature are included for personalisation and accessibility. The teacher can personalise modules, activities and worksheets for each child or collectively for a class so that children can progress at their own pace.

The accessibility features include background colour adjustment, speed of number processing, auditory processing and feedback.
